Services were held at the Second Baptist Church of Wayne. ![]() Taliaferro a daughter, Wanda Taliaferro of Edison, NJ a son, Alven Tyrone Taliaferro of Wayne a sister, Eleanor Claiborn of Canonsburg a brother, Thomas Claiborn II of Verona and other relatives and friends. She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Alven M. She enjoyed flower arranging and gardening. She was also a member of the Mainline NAACP. She was a 30-year member of the Second Baptist Church of Wayne, where she was active with the Women's Bible Studies, the Senior Usher Board, and the Flower Club. She worked for the Pennsylvania State Building, TV Guide, and at AMP as an administrative assistant. She was born Augin Rankin, PA to the late Thomas Claiborn, Sr., and Ada Lewis Claiborn. ROSEMONT, PENNSYLVANIA: Cynthia Claiborn Taliaferro, 68, died Octoat the Chestnut Hill Hospital. Arrangements were handled by Tussey-Mosher Funeral Home. He was preceded in death by his wife, Rebecca Tierney Tait. He is survived by stepdaughter, Grace (Frank) Modzianowski of Philadelphia a sister, Gertrude Stansbury of Willow Grove 2 step-grandchildren a step great-grandchild and his nieces and nephews. He was a retired salesman for Metropolitan Life, and attended the First Baptist Church of Wellsboro. He was born Februin Williamstown to Joseph and Elsie Weir Tait. Tait, 87, died Octoat the Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre. ![]()
